How Do You Make A Water Turbine Generator?

Making a water turbine generator will be very easy if there is a streaming flood of water hereby, the following method are use:

  • Start by preparing disks- use cardboard and attached the two templates of rotor and stator scheme to it.
  • Next, attach the stator: use 4 coils and attached it to the cardboard, then wind the wire into the cardboard to form tight coils. Now, arrange the coils on the cardboard according to the template scheme. It should be certain that electricity can follow the path from the left counterclockwise coil. Connecting the ends of coils and using insulating tapes on them will be the next thing to do.
  • Then attach the rotor: this will need you attaching 4 strong magnets to the stator template.  Mark the South Pole on two sides and the North Pole on the remaining two, go ahead to arrange the magnets on the template. Get a cock and 8 plastic spoons; shorten the spoons so that the handle wouldn’t be more than 1cm. insert the spoons into the cock.
  • Making the turbine, simply make a 6mm hole via the cock (let the hole be centered) then fix again the geometrical position of the spoon. Secure each of the spoons by adding hot glue to each spoon.
  • Lastly, assemble the generator body; now use a plastic bottle or tank to put together the stator, rotor, and the small turbines. Locate the center of the tank and make a hole on it about 6mm, then fix the stator with its coils above the hole. Attach on the same shaft the rotor and the turbine facing the neck of the bottle and ensure the magnet is nearer to the coils.
  • The water generator is almost ready, so just drive a stream of water to the turbine to enable it to spin continuously so far there’s water to drive it. Let the turbine be properly connected to the generator so that this stream of water can generate enough power to offer juice to your charging batteries or utilities.

Can A Water Turbine Generator Power A House?

The answer is in affirmative, the water turbine generator can power a house. With the power of water, the turbine will be installed in most canals and rivers, and the current production or generated from here can be used to power as many homes as possible.
